Make sure to open a window...
It's been a while since I've written about my paranormal experiences. They've still been happening, and I've been experiencing frequencies and beings that are different from what I've been used to. It's been both unsettling and interesting, and I've been doing a lot of research to broaden my understanding of the many different entities that we unknowingly live alongside. That being said, I have a treasure trove of information for lots of future blog posts that I'm hoping to share weekly/bi-weekly!
For reasons I'll write about in a future blog post, I've started clearing my home weekly with the use of a palo santo and sage candle that was gifted to me a few years ago. I had clothes to fold, so I lit the candle and placed it on the counter near me while I worked, with the intention of getting a head start on clearing energies before I walked with the candle through each room. About halfway through folding clothes, I heard what sounded like someone throwing their entire body weight against the door to the backyard. Since I'm a jumpy person, I did just that while trying to figure out what in the world it was! I was home alone, and all of my pets were in the other room. After the dogs and I checked to make sure there was no one and nothing at the door, I happened to glance at the candle, and it clicked.
I forgot to open a window for the old energies to leave the house.
So, I walked to the back door and held the door open with the intention of releasing the energy attempting to leave. Then I opened a window and walked with the candle throughout every room of the house with the intention of cleansing the energies.
Moral of the story: make sure to open a door or window when clearing the energies of your space!
