Seeing Red

A few nights ago, I was in the middle of a very pleasant, uneventful dream when I was ripped back into consciousness. Usually this only happens violently, I will say, if I'm in the middle of a nightmare, so I found this to be odd. What was even more unusual was that when I opened my eyes, everything in the room had a red hue to it. Everything looked red. This had only happened to me once before when a house guest was projecting their negative feelings towards me, and even then it was only a cloud of red that I saw. This was everything. I also noticed that I was lying in a peculiar way. I was flat on my back, legs straight, with my right hand placed flat over my heart, and my left hand placed flat just under my rib cage.

All this was weird, but it wasn't until I started seeing movement over the bedroom door across the room that I felt a bit nervous. (Like I've written about in other posts, even after years of spiritual experiences, I can still get startled!) It was dark in the room and I did not have my contacts in, but as I squinted to make out the shape, still lying in the same position, I realized it was a huge snake draped over the top of the door and winding about half of the wall. After a minute or so, the red and the snake faded and everything was normal once more, and I was able to move out of the position I'd woken up in. (And you better believe I turned the flashlight on my phone on and waved it around the room to make sure there was nothing else that needed my attention before I tried to go back to sleep!) Based on my own research and a fabulous channeled reading from my mom, we realized that experience had to do with the awakening of Kundalini energy and the reintroduction of the Snake Totem in my own life.

The energies that are coming into Earth now are pushing us into a period of release and cleansing, making way for our own Kundalini energy to begin waking up so we can step into our full potential and align with the heightened frequencies continuously flowing into our beings, and the Session we created focuses on doing just that! Interestingly enough, three nights ago I had another vision of a snake, only this time the snake was in my chakra system and was stretched to its full length. And what I find even more interesting is that we are in the Year of the Snake, so it makes perfect sense that Kundalini energy is ready and/or waiting to be activated- for Many of us.
