Time Jump in South Carolina?

Several months ago, I was driving back to Alabama from North Carolina after a nice visit home with my girls. While driving on the interstate somewhere in South Carolina, I found myself behind a gray car with a Mickey Mouse bumper sticker. We were going at what I considered a good, consistent speed, so I stayed behind them.
At some point, I can see a red car zooming up the interstate behind us. The car began flashing its headlights at me to move out of the way. Having already been driving for hours, I just shook my head and merged into the other lane to let it pass by. Soon, it did the same thing to the Mickey Mouse car, at which time it did the same thing it had done. As we both merged back into the left lane, I had a friendly conversation with the Mickey Mouse car in my head. "Can you believe that person? I can't believe how rude and entitled they were. I have never had someone flash their headlights at me to move out of the way. It's not like we weren't already going over the speed limit."
We drove along for several more miles before the Mickey Mouse car merged into the right lane. Traffic became heavier, the right lane traffic became slower, and soon I had passed the Mickey Mouse car, who was stuck behind slower-moving cars in the right lane.
As I continued driving for many more miles, traffic once again became a bit more heavy. When I reached the next congested area of cars, I was SHOCKED to see that I was now once again passing the Mickey Mouse car in the right lane.
I stared at the car for as long as I safely could, unable to believe what I was seeing. The same gray car, with the same Mickey Mouse sticker, that I had passed at least 20 minutes earlier. There was absolutely no way that it could have passed me, particularly without me knowing. With the exception of a few congested areas of traffic, the interstate had been relatively clear.
I had no explanation for what I had experienced other than a time jump or glitch. Have any of you experienced something like this?
With love and gratitude,
Kelly
